I decided to try out Reversal gear after reading how great it is. Obviously it is very "exclusive" since it is only carried by this site and let alone the steep price tag. But I dont mind paying $ if the item is top quality. Decided to order the "mesh" shorts and rashguard set. For one I liked the idea of having matching set, the colors were appealing to me and the attractive "sale price. I am 6ft and 220lbs. I usually wear XL rashguards and XL(size 36) in other companies' gear. I read that Reversal gear is on the smaller side, so i decided to order XXL. I should have ordered XXXL because the apparel is still on the small side. The shorts fit more like a size 34 in my opinion. I can squeeze into them, but mobililty is limited. Length wise though they are good. The rashguard was on the tighter side, but I was really turned off by how short it was. I can definitely see this rolling up while grappling. Material wise I dont see the appeal of the shorts. For the price there are much better shorts out there. The mesh shorts feel "stiff" and the way the logos are put on there, they almost look cheap. Also the mesh shorts dont have the "slits" on the leg sides so take that into consideration if you have bigger thighs or just like to have more room in the legs. The rashguard is very good quality. Nice an thick, but as I mentioned they are on the short side. So there you have it, a quick review. To sum it up its mediocre gear that is overpriced. Lower the price and its a good deal. I will say though that choke sports customer service is top notch.They went far and beyond meeting my expectations and really took care of me. Order was received within 3 days of leving Japan. Only bummer is that returning my items for bigger sizes would have cost me another $80. It would have been $40 to send items back and then another $40 for return shipping. I felt that this was not worth it and just decided to keep it. So the gear still sits in the box, unworn, hoping to sell it stateside. MAKE SURE TO ORDER CORRECT SIZE. AND IF IN DOUBT, ORDER UP A SIZE
