These are the custom made black belts our parent company Isami produces in Japan. They take approximately 2-3 weeks to make. We are the official suppliers of famous instructors and fighters in Japan, Brazil, USA and Europe. So if you are looking for high quality black belts to wear at the gym or in competition, then you need to search no further.
BELT MODEL: Each model has its own specifications (see image chart) and they are all suited for Jiu-Jitsu. Thick or soft core? Cotton or Silk? You decide.
SIZES: We use Isami's own sizes, so please check the belt length before placing the order. For your reference, Isami size 5 (295cm/116'') is similar to Brazilian A2.
LABELS: Our black belts come with two labels. One is our standard "Made in Japan" label. The other you get to choose (see pictures).
SLEEVE & STRIPES: With or without the red sleeve? How about degrees/stripes?
KANJI EMBROIDERIES: Add "柔術" (Jiu-Jitsu) or "武士道" (Bushido) embroidery in orange, red, silver or gold. Contact us for additional colors.
ADDITIONAL EMBROIDERY REQUEST:
- You can request additional embroideries such as name, nickname, team, etc.
- These are charged separately, via PayPal electronic invoice, after we receive your order.
- Regular colors like white, yellow, orange, red cost USD 5 per character.
- Special colors like gold, dark gold and silver cost USD 6 per character.
- Embroideries are charged based on thread color and number of characters.
- Enter your personalized embroidery request in the empty field below.
- We can embroider Romanji (Alphabet), Kanji and Katakana characters.
- We also provide the translation service free of charge.
- The standard embroidered character measures 2.5cm

EXTRAS: Add a traditional Japanese black belt wood box and/or an Isami Belt Strap to keep your belt always tied.

I''ve been using the F-1000 belt made of silk for the past couple of weeks. It''s a thick core model so it''s taken this long to start to "break" and fall into place. It feels great, definitely not like your average belt. It has a very nice shine and texture that I''d never seen on a belt. I just wish I had also ordered the belt strap from ChokeSports to help keep the belt tied especially now in the beginning when it''s still a bit stiff. I guess I''ll get it when I order one of their Double Weave Gis.

Believe the hype, this belt is on a league of its own. I purchased the silk model F-100 and could not be any happier. Amazing quality and embroideries, definitely worth the money.

My friends and I ordered a F-450 belt to our instructor for his birthday. The belt has his name in Portuguese and four stripes over a red band with white stripes. It looks really good and he was quite surprised with the present. The embroidery was handmade in Japan and it's easy to see the difference as it looks much better than computer embroideries that are so common nowadays. The pictures on the site don't do the belts justice, you have to see it yourself to understand what I'm saying. It was a pleasure dealing with Chokesports, they were very helpful during the ordering process and all the details we could choose.
