When "your practice does not belong to dojo only" (this is one of 20 precepts of Niju Kun, by Funakoshi Gichin sensei), you want to wear something special in "usual" life. Yes, there are plenty of t-shirts with different logos and pictures around, but when I train I wear gi and obi, not a t-shirt. Thus, this belt is definitely something special.
