Custom Made in Japan — No Shortcuts
- True Custom Construction: Every coral belt is made to order in Japan, not pulled from stock.
- Integrated Embroidery: Names and kanji are embroidered into the fabric before assembly.
- Correct Proportions: Signature black panels measure 8 in / 21 cm on each end.
This belt is built using traditional Katsuragi Ayaji cotton and assembled entirely in Japan by Isami’s master belt makers. Unlike surface embroidery, integrated embroidery becomes part of the fabric itself, ensuring long-term durability and a clean reverse side. The belt ages naturally over time, developing character without losing structure or clarity. This is the construction standard Isami follows for belts made for elite masters worldwide.

BELT MODEL: Which one is right for you?
➡️ SOFT BELTS are lightweight and have a broken-in feel. They are made of 100% cotton with 9 stitch lines and measure 1.65 in / 42 mm wide.
➡️ STIFF BELTS are heavier and feel sturdy around your waist, taking longer to break in than a soft belt. They are made of 100% cotton with 13 stitch lines and measure 1.65 in / 42 mm wide.
INTEGRATED EMBROIDERY
Our custom made belts feature integrated embroideries. This is the most premium method of embroidery and also the most resistant. We embroider the fabric first and then we make the belt. There will be no trail on the reverse side, but the belt stitch lines will be over the embroidery. The final product is unique and stunning.
RANK BAR AND DEGREES
Here at ChokeSports we can add rank bar and degrees to Side B of your belt. You get to choose what your rank bar will look like, or simply order the belt without any rank bar. According to IBJJF regulations, the BJJ Red Black Belt must have a 6 in / 15 cm white rank bar with silver borders and red degrees.
