Shipping
All ChokeSports.com orders are packed and shipped from our main warehouse in Saitama, Japan. We process and dispatch orders on regular business days (Mon-Fri) except for national holidays in Japan.
Transfer of Title: All products are shipped from Japan. Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer when the goods are delivered to the carrier in Japan for international shipment.
We have regular customers all across the globe and ship worldwide on a daily basis. If you can't find your country during checkout, please contact our support team.
DUTIES & IMPORT TAXES
ChokeSports.com orders are shipped from Japan with duties and taxes unpaid. Import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees are not included in the purchase price. These charges are determined by the destination country's customs authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient.
When your order arrives, your local courier may ask you to pay import fees before delivery. These charges are imposed by your country's customs office, not ChokeSports. If you refuse to pay these fees, the item(s) may be returned to Japan or disposed of by the carrier. Click here for detailed information about duties & taxes.
PROCESSING TIMES
Processing time is the time it takes us to prepare your order before it ships. This is separate from the delivery times listed below, which only start once your package leaves our warehouse.
- In Stock items usually ship within 3-5 business days. Some items are stored across different warehouses, which can affect processing time slightly depending on the product mix in your order.
- Made to Order items ship as soon as production is complete. If an item is not in stock, current production times are listed on that item's product page and vary by product.
You'll receive a completion estimate a few days after placing your order. If your order contains a mix of in-stock and made-to-order items, the entire order ships together once the made-to-order item is ready, unless you request split shipping — contact our support team to arrange this.
SHIPPING METHODS & DELIVERY TIMES
Orders are shipped via express courier (DHL Express, FedEx) or Japan Post's express service (EMS Express). All shipments feature door-to-door tracking and a signed proof of delivery is usually required. Delivery times vary by destination and method. Transit times are estimates and not guaranteed.
- DHL Express shipments typically arrive in 3–5 business days.
- Japan Post shipments are handed off to your national postal service (Australian Post, Royal Mail, Canada Post etc) and typically arrive in 10–30 business days.
- FedEx shipments typically arrive in 3–5 business days.
PLACES WE CANNOT SHIP TO
- Shipments to Russia and Ukraine are currently suspended.
- Shipments to PO Boxes are only available with regular express mail (eg. Japan Post, USPS).
UNCLAIMED PACKAGES
To avoid delays or extra costs, please make sure someone is available to receive your order. If a package is refused by the recipient or not claimed, what happens next depends on the carrier used for your shipment:
- Japan Post (EMS Express): In most cases, refused or unclaimed parcels are returned to our warehouse in Japan. Once received and inspected, a refund may be issued for the product value only. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, and any return shipping fees charged by the carrier will be deducted from the refund amount.
- DHL Express & FedEx: Private couriers do not guarantee return of refused shipments. Parcels that are refused or abandoned at customs are typically disposed of or destroyed by the carrier and are not returned to us. In these cases, no refund will be issued. In the rare event a return is arranged and additional carrier charges are incurred, these will be deducted from any refund issued.
