Yes, we can usually add dan degrees or stripes to your used Isami belt purchased from ChokeSports.com. We'll remove the existing rank bar and degrees, then replace them with a brand new rank bar and updated stripes — just like we do for new belts.
However, please keep in mind a few important conditions:
- We cannot modify belts made from satin (F-500) or silk (F-1000) because the fabric is too delicate to unsew and reconstruct.
- Belts with excessive wear or damaged surfaces may not qualify for this service.
- Each stripe requires at least 12-15mm of space on the rank bar.
This is not a free service, and you will need to ship the belt back to our factory in Japan for the work to be done. To get started, please send us a close-up photo of the current rank bar. Our embroidery team will review it and confirm if the update is possible.
