Embroidery is priced by the number of characters you type into the embroidery builder on the product page. The price is set by what you type, not by how the text looks after translation.
Typing English with a Japanese font
Type your name or word in English, pick a Japanese font, and we translate it for you free of charge. You pay for the English characters you typed. The price is not adjusted after translation, even when the Japanese version is shorter.
Example: “Courage” is 7 characters in English and 2 in Kanji (勇気). It is charged as 7 characters.
Typing the Japanese characters yourself
If you already know the exact Japanese characters you want, type them directly into the builder. You then pay for the Japanese characters you typed.
Example: typing 勇気 directly is charged as 2 characters.
