The sizing is a big off. I’m 5’11” and ~180lbs. Got the larger based on the sizing chart, but wish I had gotten a size down. Still a good product, but fit is off!

Isami's sizing charts are built around general measurements, but fit can vary a bit from person to person, especially around the calf and knee area. Since you found the Large ran big at 5'11" and 180lbs, a size down would likely give you the snugger, more locked-in fit you're after. I am 56 and started training jiu jitsu about 2 years ago. My knees aren’t tough like the 20 years olds and these fit under gi pants perfectly. They don’t hinder triangles and they don’t slip when sparring.

Unfortunately I can't roll because of lockdowns. But I've tried them out and there perfect.
Finally found a product that lets me bend my knees and kick as well. I don’t have to worry about getting kicked in the knees.
This items are good for training wrestling and grappling.
