🧵 CUSTOM EMBROIDERY
Personalize your new martial arts brown belt with beautiful embroideries in English and in Japanese. There are six fonts to choose from and 10 different colors. We reserve about 8in 20cm of each belt end for embroideries. Long text will be resized to fit within that space.
BELT FIRMNESS & EMBROIDERY
Isami belts now come in three firmness models, so you can match the belt to how you actually train. ➡️ F-350 is slim and soft, with a lightweight, "broken-in" feel from day one. We add the embroidery to the finished belt, so the stitching sits over the belt seams and the reverse side shows a visible trail. This is what we call "non-integrated embroidery." ➡️ F-400 is thin & firm, thinner than F-700 but with more structure than F-350. ➡️ F-700 is thick and stiff, built to hold its shape and take longer to break in than F-350 or F-400. Both F-400 and F-700 feature "integrated embroidery": we embroider the fabric first and then build the belt around it. There's no trail on the reverse side, and the belt stitch lines sit over the embroidery for a cleaner finish.
📏 BELT WIDTH: 42mm, 45mm or 50mm
Now you can choose how wide your Isami Brown Belt should be. The standard belt width is 42mm (1.65in) but we also make two wider variations that are 45mm (1.80in) and 50mm (2in). This is especially popular with bigger fighters/instructors who need a belt that will match their large frame.
🚿 BELT WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
In Japan it is uncommon to wash the obi martial arts belt. However many of our international customers like to wash their belts. We recommend hand washing (with hand soap) and hang drying in the shade.
Please note that regular washing will accelerate the belt's aging process and might cause it to shrink further than estimated. It will still be functional and last for many years though.

Slightly disappointed. Beautifully made with excellent embroidery and a rich color. The quality is high, and the 9 lines of stitching are clean and consistent. While advertised as “stiff,” it’s actually medium-soft—firmer than a Hayabusa but not as rigid as a Ronin. The rank bar is stitched around, giving it a unique look. I really like the feel and presentation, but it didn’t meet expectations on stiffness.

Love it. Absolutely blown away by the quality and craftsmanship of the belt. Stitching looks amazing and the length of the belt was as advertised. The belt also arrived a week earlier than predicted which, of course is a +. My only gripe was not with the belt itself, but for the pricing with a custom logo. $100 for a stitched logo that was the same size as 1 letter of my name that was also written. It’s $4 for a letter in the name. I’m sure theres some explanation as to why it makes it more costly that others may have knowledge about. The others at my gym would love to also have their belts embroidered if the up charge wasnt so steep. Anyways, the turn out of the logo exceeded my expectations so I wouldnt deduct a star for that. Easily the best belt I’ve come across in my 10 years of bjj. Only a week long owner though so I’ll have to see how it fairs over time. Again, Love it!

Excellt customer service as always, everything is perfect about the belt top notch quality!. In general belt is awesome in every aspect and you definitely get what you expect mark my words. This is my second Isamı stiff BJJ belt order from chokesports after many years passed. If I must say about the belts cons, I can say only downsize of the belt is come loose more often then regular belts due to it's thickness. Overall the feel, quality, stitches, embrodiery etc. everything is amazing. (You can see the first belt I ordered from chokesports and you can see the new one for resembling the aging and durability).

Not as good as previous purchases. The embroidery is great, but the belt is too thin (thickness not width). I compared it to my previous 2 belts purchased with Isami and it seems like the quality is nowhere near the same. I am disappointed with this purchase and decided to wear a cheap belt bought at a local shop.

I hv ordered a BJJ purple belt 3years ago with my name embroidered on it and after using it daily for 3years I’m very happy with the quality of the belt and not a single thread of my name came out to my surprised. I wish I could have given a better rated review.... The belt itself is nice and thick like your average black belt can be expected to be. The kanji lettering with the name of the organization is very decent and clearly legible. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the name of my student written in katakana. It looks weird. It's as if one person worked on the kanji and another worked on the katakana lettering. The characters are too close together and it is difficult to see the smaller details in each character. It's like everything is just stringed on and stick together making it particularly difficult to read the name. I really wish I could have gave you guys a better review as I really like the work on thick embroidered colored belts I have seen your company produce for my friends.

An absolutely dreadful experience with this company. Do not buy. They make you wait months for your order and then they ship it in the most ludicrous format. Customer service is about as helpful as you can imagine. Isami makes great stuff but stay away from ChokeSports at all costs.
