This stretch karate gi is one of the softest and thinnest in Isami’s lineup, yet it maintains excellent durability. 🧼 Washing & Shrinkage
Expect Some Shrinkage: Your gi isn't pre-shrunk. It may look a bit large at first, but will adjust to the perfect size after 2-3 washes.
Washing Instructions: Wash at a maximum of 40°C. Avoid bleach to protect the fabric's integrity. Dry cleaning is safe.
👕 Drying
Hang Dry Method: Use separate hangers for the top and pants. Dry in the shade to maintain its shape.
Tumble Dry Caution: If using a tumble dryer, stop at 80% dryness to prevent excessive shrinkage. Then, hang it to finish drying.
🩸 Stain Management & Rotation
Quick Action for Stains: Wash immediately after practice if stained, especially with blood, to avoid permanent marks.
Rotation Strategy: Like many of our customers who train frequently, consider rotating multiple gis. This ensures a fresh gi for each session and extends the life of each one.

I’ve trained in ISAMI gis before (my K-450 was excellent), and the K-470 is another fantastic piece. It’s lightweight, durable, and moves beautifully - perfect for regular training. The fabric balances flexibility and sturdiness, and the fit is very comfortable. This time I also used their custom embroidery service, and the detailing is precise and sharp—really elevates the gi. A top-quality choice for serious Kyokushin practitioners.

Very good quality material, great workmanship and professional cut used since Mas Oyama. After a short test, Best Gi to Karate Kyokushin and Search Fight. This is my opinion and Sensei for whom the second Gi number 8 was ordered.
I contacted Chokesports support to get tips on their Isami karate gis. They were very professional and explianed that the 470 uniform was top of the line. I had never spent this amount of money on a gi so I was obviously expecting something very very good. I've now been wearing my new Isami K-470 for just over three weeks and I must say that it's proven to be one of the best investments I ever made in my Karate training. Best Gi I have every owned....dd not shrink hardly at all so sizing represented on site was spot on! Delivery was rapid and online support very responsive. Wished I had brough one of these Gi's years ago. Will only every by these from now on!

Absolutely great product! Excellent support from Chokesports Support team! Delivery to UK took just about few weeks! Just one advise - don't trust the Size Chart, but rather measure yourself and if you have an old gi - check it's measures first. I am 6.0/187cm and according to this table I should have purchased size 8. However, I went for 5 and it fits me absolutely perfect! Can't even imagine what would have been if I had taken the 8.. Anyway, special thanks to Connor and Lisa for their great effort & assistance! Much appreciated!D.
