🧵 CUSTOM EMBROIDERY
Personalize your new martial arts light purple belt with beautiful embroideries in English and in Japanese. There are six fonts to choose from and 10 different colors. We reserve about 8in 20cm of each belt end for embroideries. Long text will be resized to fit within that space.
BELT FIRMNESS & EMBROIDERY
Isami belts now come in three firmness models, so you can match the belt to how you actually train. ➡️ F-350 is slim and soft, with a lightweight, "broken-in" feel from day one. We add the embroidery to the finished belt, so the stitching sits over the belt seams and the reverse side shows a visible trail. This is what we call "non-integrated embroidery." ➡️ F-400 is thin & firm, thinner than F-700 but with more structure than F-350. ➡️ F-700 is thick and stiff, built to hold its shape and take longer to break in than F-350 or F-400. Both F-400 and F-700 feature "integrated embroidery": we embroider the fabric first and then build the belt around it. There's no trail on the reverse side, and the belt stitch lines sit over the embroidery for a cleaner finish.
📏 BELT WIDTH: 42mm or 45mm
Now you can choose how wide your Isami Light Purple Belt should be. The standard belt width is 42mm (1.65in) but we also make a wider variation that is 45mm (1.80in) wide. This is especially popular with bigger fighters/instructors who need a belt that will match their large frame.
🚿 BELT WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
In Japan it is uncommon to wash the obi martial arts belt. However many of our international customers like to wash their belts. We recommend hand washing (with hand soap) and hang drying in the shade.
Please note that regular washing will accelerate the belt's aging process and might cause it to shrink further than estimated. It will still be functional and last for many years though.

Our stiff color belts always feature "integrated embroidery": we embroider the fabric first and then we make the belt. There is no trail on the reverse side, but the belt stitch lines show over the embroidery. This is the most premium and resistant method of embroidery. I can assure you that your belt tuned our exactly the way it's supposed to. It was in fact handmade for you in Japan. Actually I’m a little disappointed. I ordered the belt without a rank tab and in the preview the text aligned perfectly. When the belt arrived there was a black tab and the writing on that side was misaligned. Maybe it was my fault, I had so much trouble paying I had to order about 5 times so I could have slipped up, but definitely disappointed.

I got the stiff version of this belt . Its really thick compared to my old cheap belt but it's not overly stiff . I had to start tying my belt " super lock " style which looks great with the thick belt but tying it traditionally it doesn't stayed tied well. After a few months I noticed a part on the bottom was starting to unthread along the seam so I emailed customer service who to my surprise replied to me almost immediately and sent me out by new belt a few days later after the weekend. In retrospect I'm not sure if I like the light purple as much as I would have enjoyed dark purple but either way I plan on buying an Isami brown belt when the day comes
I really like the color and the quality of the belt. The delivery was pretty fast (from Japan to Europe) and could be tracked. I recommend buying this belt.
I got the stiff purple rank belt with Jiu Jitsu kanji. It is by far the BEST belt I have owned. I will continue all my future belts with them. Highly recommend to anyone who want superior quality.
