In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the BJJ purple belt marks the shift from student to advanced practitioner, the rank where technique starts to outweigh raw effort. In Karate, the purple belt karate rank reflects the same refinement, technique sharpened ahead of brown and black belt. In Judo, purple holds a recognized place in the kyu system as well, a rank earned through real time on the mat. 🧵 CUSTOM EMBROIDERY
Personalize your new martial arts purple belt with beautiful embroideries in English and in Japanese. There are six fonts to choose from and 10 different colors. We reserve about 8in 20cm of each belt end for embroideries. Long text will be resized to fit within that space.
BELT FIRMNESS & EMBROIDERY
Isami belts now come in three firmness models, so you can match the belt to how you actually train. ➡️ F-350 is slim and soft, with a lightweight, "broken-in" feel from day one. We add the embroidery to the finished belt, so the stitching sits over the belt seams and the reverse side shows a visible trail. This is what we call "non-integrated embroidery." ➡️ F-400 is thin & firm, thinner than F-700 but with more structure than F-350. ➡️ F-700 is thick and stiff, built to hold its shape and take longer to break in than F-350 or F-400. Both F-400 and F-700 feature "integrated embroidery": we embroider the fabric first and then build the belt around it. There's no trail on the reverse side, and the belt stitch lines sit over the embroidery for a cleaner finish.
📏 BELT WIDTH: 42mm, 45mm or 50mm
Now you can choose how wide your Isami Purple Belt should be. The standard belt width is 42mm (1.65in) but we also make two wider variations that are 45mm (1.80in) and 50mm (2in). This is especially popular with bigger fighters/instructors who need a belt that will match their large frame.
🚿 BELT WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
In Japan it is uncommon to wash the obi martial arts belt. However many of our international customers like to wash their belts. We recommend hand washing (with hand soap) and hang drying in the shade.
Please note that regular washing will accelerate the belt's aging process and might cause it to shrink further than estimated. It will still be functional and last for many years though.

Isami Purple Belt Review. I can’t recommend Isami enough if you’re in the market for a premium quality Jiu-Jitsu belt. I had an excellent experience. The belt was delivered in a very timely fashion, and was exactly as specified in my order.

Embroidery oops made right. I recently ordered a custom purple belt for BJJ. When I recieved my belt, the embroidery work was incorrect. I contacted Choke Sports and within one afternoon they decided to replace my order and correct the embroidery issue at no addition charge. Pretty awesome. So I recently decided purple is a great color, and it might not be so bad to spend 7 years at purple and skip straight to black. I have a few of them and with the custom embroidery I can sandbag for an extended period in style.Would recommend going up 1 size as there is some shrinkage.

Isami Color Rank Belt (purple) with embroidery. Once agin a superior Isami product provided by Choke Sports.I have worn Isami belts at every rank in my Jiu Jitsu journey. As the belts are worn and become broken in and the true quality of the belt comes out. The belts keep their quality, but show wear by fading and showing white lines. At times they slightly tear and start to show the white underneath. The belts stay strong through years of hard training. To me this is superior quality. It takes years of training for the belt to achieve this level. It’s something to aspire to and shows the dedication to the art and dedication of the Isami product. I have found them to be far superior in quality than any other belt that I have owned. The embroidery on this belt is absolutely of the highest detail and exactly what I requested.I have given these belts as gifts and they have been well received. Choke Sports further provides superior customer service. Lisa Anderson has gone above and beyond on every order that I have ever had issues with. Isami Purple belt (Stiff). Ordered this belt because of the deep purple color. The stiffness feels like could take years to break in. It's a beautiful hand made item. Took about a month to arrive.
Looks great, fits great, but the the embroidery that says Jui Juitsu in Japanese is in gold (yellow). I wanted it in white but I apparently pushed the wrong button when I ordered it, my bad. Still love it and it looks and fits great.

I paid $101 usd for this belt thinking it would be a good quality hand made belt.I was really excited to get it for my upcoming promotion but then it arrived and I was like "what is this?" It feels flimsy and cheap and is paper thin. I'm so disappointed. For perspective I took a video of it next to my blue belt which was a $20 belt they gave me at my gym. It's WAYYY nicer than this new one from Isami. My guess is they won't even post my review.

Belt sent to me without embroidery. So disappointed with my experience so far. 3 stars are for Lisa who is currently sorting this matter out.I will submit a further review once the replacement item has been received.
