The L-122i is built for Kyokushin, Shotokan, and kickboxing sparring rounds. Side panel placement is deliberate: front kicks, low kicks, and lateral stance shifts are all covered. The polyester/rayon blend holds its shape through repeated rounds without packing down. These are full-contact karate knee pads that do their job without adding drag to your movement.

Kneepads Full Contact. I bought these for my husband. He is an electrician. He has to be on his knees a lot. These knee pads are comfortable and move well with him. They protect his knees from hard surfaces. He wears them all day under his pants.

I can get kicked hard and defend using my knee without getting injured nor injuring my partner (he's wearing shin guards obviously). It also protects a bit above the knee for those painful low kicks which land in the lower part of the thigh. I haven't found similar elsewhere.
