The Washable Head Guard Built for Amateur Shooto
The Isami Shooto MMA Head Guard is the official head guard of amateur Shooto, cleared for use in amateur Shooto matches. ChokeSports.com is the official international distributor of Isami and Reversal since 2006, shipping this guard direct from Japan. Isami built it as the world's first washable head guard, so it goes in the machine when training gets messy. Reserve yours today.
Protection That Stays Put
- Stays locked in place through scrambles, with a four-layer hook-and-loop closure at the back of the head
- Covers cheeks and ears with padded side panels and perforated ear pads
- Keeps the padding fresh because the whole guard can be washed, so sweat never builds up inside
Four sizes cover head circumferences from 19.1" to 25.6" (48.5 cm to 65.0 cm). Choose S for women or smaller men, and M for most adult men. The open-face shape keeps your field of vision wide during sparring. A mesh lining sits inside a synthetic leather and urethane shell.
Clean Gear, Every Session
- Machine washable in a laundry net, so every sparring session starts with a fresh guard
- Legal for amateur Shooto competition, so you train in the exact guard you fight in
- Made to order in Japan by Isami, with the highest levels of craftsmanship
Headgear is the dirtiest piece of kit in a fighter's bag. Blood, sweat and saliva soak into the sponge and stay there, session after session. Isami designed the Shooto guard to break that cycle: hand wash it for the best finish, or machine wash it inside a net to protect the rest of your laundry. Train in the guard Japan's amateur Shooto fighters compete in, from Isami and Reversal's official international partner since 2006.
