A Milestone We’re Proud to Be Part Of
ChokeSports was recruited not once, but twice to create a custom Isami 7th-degree coral belt for Master Draculino.
- First request: From his longtime student Romulo Barral, after seeing the coral belt we created for Alexandre “Soca” Freitas.
- Design: “Draculino” embroidered on Side A, and on Side B the Gracie Barra red shield embroidered above the traditional rank bar with 7 degrees.
- Funny coincidence: A few days later, Master Soca contacted us to request the same—adding a different touch with Draculino’s name embroidered in Japanese Katakana.
Both belts turned out beautiful. We’ll share photos of each below, plus an Instagram video from the promotion.

Three Coral Belts, One Legacy
During the promotion in Brazil, Draculino was awarded an official Gracie Barra coral belt from the hands of Master Carlos Gracie Jr. That means he now has not 1, but 3 coral belts to rotate during his routine of classes and training.
A Full-Circle Moment With Japan
Many years ago, Draculino was actually sponsored by Reversal RVDDW. He released a highly regarded technique DVD series in Japan while wearing Isami Jiu-Jitsu gis with Reversal patches.
He’s an old friend of Isami’s president and Reversal founder, Mr. Iso Takehiro, and also an old friend of ChokeSports’ founder from their days in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Mr. JP Santos.
