The design stays clean with subtle embroidered Isami logos on both sleeves and classic woven labels. The collar maintains structure while staying comfortable around the neck. 🧼 Washing & Shrinkage
Expect Some Shrinkage: Your gi isn't pre-shrunk. It may look a bit large at first, but will adjust to the perfect size after 2-3 washes.
Washing Instructions: Wash at a maximum of 40°C. Avoid bleach to protect the fabric's integrity. Dry cleaning is safe.
👕 Drying
Hang Dry Method: Use separate hangers for the top and pants. Dry in the shade to maintain its shape.
Tumble Dry Caution: If using a tumble dryer, stop at 80% dryness to prevent excessive shrinkage. Then, hang it to finish drying.
🩸 Stain Management & Rotation
Quick Action for Stains: Wash immediately after practice if stained, especially with blood, to avoid permanent marks.
Rotation Strategy: Like many of our customers who train frequently, consider rotating multiple gis. This ensures a fresh gi for each session and extends the life of each one.

Fantastic gi. Few things about this gi that was not expectedSoft - VERY soft, hands down the softest gi i've purchased, let's see how it holds over washesCollar - not as wide as i expected, regular width but not squishySleeve width- wider than your usual Jiu Jitsu cut gi, if you do not like to give away grips or using this for comp - not recommended. I like Ezekiels so this will be perfect!Weight - not heavy at all as i thought it would be, pretty sure this was marketed as a double weave . Can someone correct me if a double weave should translate to a heavier gi? This might be my lack of knowledge Sleeve length - 3-4 inches longer than advertised on the table BUT they did say after washes it will get down to the length in the size chart - so this is perfect!Overall - 9/10 - would love bit more weight but that's a personal preference

BJJ Double weave jacket. As always another superior Isami product provided by Choke Sports.I bought an Isami BJJ gi In 2009 in Japan. I still have this gi and although showing wear and tear it is still strong.These gi’s are the strongest and most durable that I know of. Thank you for a quality product
Double-weave sashiko jacket. This is the nicest gi jacket I've ever owned, offering a good balance of durability, lightness, and softness that lasts even through hang drying. The sleeves run a little small, so if you're on size border, you are probably better off getting the size up.
Great gi / excellent service. My gi came really fast coming all the way from Japan. The gi is all I expected it to be , tough yet comfortable. The update emails from Conner were great , definitely will do business with Chokesports for all my MA equipment needs and recommend them to others . Dan

First time i buy a mix fabric, i only had the double weave, and i was amazed of how soft and nice this jacket feels. For sunny day works is gonna be perfect, i liked a lot.

Soft, comfortable, feels durable, and doesn't feel too stiff like some other Gis. The jacket size leaves enough leeway for shrinkage when washed.
